Celebrate Girls in Sports
Join us for the Bowa Gives Girls In Sports Summit, a two-part event dedicated to empowering the next generation of female athletes. This exciting summit features the Girls’ Invite Preview, a fun-filled day of movement and community. Participants will enjoy a light workout session tailored for all fitness levels, a craft project, followed by refreshing snacks and beverages. We’ll also have a brief speaking program and an opportunity to register for the 2025 BOWA Gives Girls Invite.
The 2025 BOWA Gives Girls Invite, hosted in partnership with the Chicago Park District and National Girls and Women in Sports Day, is a full two-day event, setting the stage for young female athletes to feel inspired, empowered, and motivated to grow, lead, and excel.
Day 1 is dedicated to enriching workshops, panel discussions, special guest speakers, and partner activations that highlight athletic training tailored for girls, strategies for college readiness, and other informative and engaging topics. Guest speakers and former female athletes will be on hand to lead sessions and engage with attendees.
Day 2 is a full day on the track with spirited competition for all participants. Athletes can register individually or with their team.

The BOWA Gives Girls’ Invite set a stage for female athletes to be inspired to compete and feel empowered. This year’s event was the inaugural year for the soon-to-be annual event. This event introduced the Chicagoland area to our vision of a weekend for female athletes to connect, fellowship, and compete with each other.
BOWA Gives supports helping girls develop a strong sense of personal achievement and self-esteem. We support the coaches who also serve as positive role models and mentors to the girls; they are the ones who are laying the foundation. Ultimately, we want to create pathways for more young women to achieve their full potential as athletes, women, and leaders.
We recognize the discipline and hard work of training. We nurture mentorship and persistence.
